Adnan Oktar: This project appears in the Qur’an. The Qur’an commands us, the whole Islamic world, to be united. Indeed, Allah says in the Qur’an, I seek refuge in Allah from satan, that we must be like buildings welded together with lead. THE FIRST PRECONDITION FOR MUSLIMS TO ESCAPE POVERTY IS FOR THEM TO BE UNITED. The second is for the moral values of the Qur’an to be genuinely implemented. These are affection, compassion, love and cooperation. A Muslim in any case has no greed for possessions or worldly things. Once unity and unison is established, Muslims will regard themselves as a family, as brothers. Wealth and plenty will thus appear spontaneously when this religious obligation is fulfilled. In other words, there is no need for any special effort to attain these. MUSLIMS LOVING ONE ANOTHER AND BEING UNITED; ISLAMIC COUNTRIES ARE ALREADY VERY WEALTHY IN TERMS OF PETROL AND MINERALS AND IN HUMAN TERMS. THEY JUST NEED TO COME TOGETHER, LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND STRIVE TOGETHER IN RATIONAL ACTIVITY. In that case it will be like it was in the time of the Prophet Sulayman (as), insha’Allah. But even if it is not as it was that age, there will still be a glorious period of wealth and plenty.
Baghdad TV: Do you have a project for the unification of Islam, of Muslims? Because I hear you have a magazine. It calls for the unification of the Islamic world. Do you have such a project?
Adnan Oktar: Yes, insha’Allah, I am thinking of a great Islamic union. Like a Turkish-Islamic Union. The Muslim world will thus be the world’s greatest superstate. That is my idea. Under Turkish leadership, with Turkey as older brother, it will unite the whole Islamic world, the whole Turkish world. The Turkish world in any case consists entirely of Muslims. I am saying this for clarity’s sake. An Islamic union has actually already come about. We believe there will be plenty, abundance and peace within this union. I think that war will come to an end and that expenditure on war will instead be spent on things beneficial to humanity. And I believe the time is nigh. But my real belief is that all this will happen with the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) with the establishment of the Turkish-Islamic Union in the End Times. And I believe that the Prophet Jesus (as) will also appear and that this is imminent, too.

Press: You have referred to a political system based on Islamic union. Could you expand on that a bit? How will this system be established? How will present-day nations be integrated into the system? Could you expand?
Adnan Oktar: Let me explain this system. For one thing, every state will be an independent state in this system. Turkey will still be Turkey. Azerbaijan will still be Azerbaijan and Turkistan will still be Turkistan. Everyone will be separate. This is a union of love, of hearts. It is a union of love, based on human love, that co-operates against terror and violence, THAT CO-OPERATES ON ECONOMIC REGENERATION, that attaches more importance to a belief in self-sacrifice and generosity, and that puts the love of Allah above all else.

We may move to a common currency with Iran
Erdoğan said that no legal obstacle remained to the use of a common currency with Iran and stated “we move to implementation.”
Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech in Turkish-Iran business forum in Tahran, the capital of Iran.
In his address to businessmen, Prime Minister Erdoğan stated the importance of mixed economy assemblies in terms of mutual co-operation and investment opportunities and added that Turkey would be proud to host the 11th Mixed Economy Assembly. The prime minister said that the law now permitted a transition to a common currency with Iran and proposed such a transition to a common currency by recalling that Iran had made a new legal revision on the subject. |
