PRESENTER: If you permit, I would like to start with questions. This is from Salih Kor in Ankara: “I can see that leading world figures are implementing your highly important statements that you make during your interviews and they give speeches in relation to these points. Consequently, these are seen in headlines right away. For instance on the headline of the other day’s Hürriyet daily, the declaration of Ali Akbar Salehi, the Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization was published, saying that nuclear bomb is haram (forbidden in religion). You had explained this topic months ago, it is very nice that Muslims are taking steps in parallel to your most valuable words. I have great respect for you my dear teacher.” We had shown the headline in the Hürriyet daily in our interview on Friday, and what you had said months ago is seen here once again.
ADNAN OKTAR: I have the newspaper with me, see they have made a statement by using exactly the same words. I told them to make this affirmation and that Ahmadinejad should definitely make this declaration because media attaches great significance to his words. One week after the message, this was published. I sent this message about one week ago and the following week it was reported. “Nuclear bomb is haram”, insha’Allah. Our brothers in Israel are very much restless and I am in permanent contact with them. They are in such perturbation that Iran will attack them and they say this was once spoken. They assume Iran would certainly attack even if they (Iranians) had taken back what they had said. This is not possible. Turkey and the Islamic world is there [not to let it happen]. Iran is not a reckless country and it would not act on its own. That is to say, Turkey is the brother in the region so without Turkey’s notice, none of the countries would carry out such an imprudent act. Also more than half of the population in Iran consists of Turks, which means that it is not an unmanageable country, Iran is controllable. Ahmadinejad and Khamenei are not unwitting people and Khamenei is a Turk himself, he is of Turkish origin.
It is wrong for Israel to consider itself like a stranger, because they are our sons, they are the People of the Book. They are the descendants of the Prophet Abraham (as), would we ever let anyone touch or harm them? Would we ever let them be aggrieved? If they say Prophet Abraham’s (as) grandchildren are here, what would we do? We would absolutely be very respectful to them and show great courtesy, we would safeguard them and would not let anybody do any harm. They have a pointless restlessness on this matter, Insha’Allah we will be clarifying this issue in the coming days both on radio and television conversations. Which newspaper was it that I interviewed the other day?
OKTAR BABUNA: The Washington Post, this newspaper is one of the largest in circulation in the US and one of the most prominent all around the world.
ADNAN OKTAR: I had a two and a half hour interview with The Washington Post and we will publish it on the Internet, you may view it there. It is an all inclusive report and they said it would be published in about two week’s time. They asked on all topics, everything they were in wonder of such as our case in courts, Hazrat Mahdi (as), the End Times, dajjalism, Darwinism, materialism, and we explained them all.
OKTAR BABUNA: Return of the Prophet Jesus (as).
ADNAN OKTAR: We elucidated on the return of the Prophet Jesus (as) and Day of Judgment also. These will continue in the days to come, our interviews with such prominent and significant newspapers and foremost television channels are continuing day and night. Sometimes our program is finished here and then we carry on with another program. In summary, sometimes people advocate the same idea but somehow they get in quarrel all of a sudden. I see similar incidents on television when they are in favor of the same opinion but unexpectedly get into dispute. However, we as the Islamic world are in support of the same values with Israel which is brotherhood, love, peace and friendship. Would it ever be possible to inflict any harm to children or people there? Also, our Muslim brothers are restless there due to a possible attack or conquest of Haram al-Sharif or Masjid al-Aqsa. No such thing can or may happen, Allah knows best. Sometimes a very small group of a few in three or five people groupings may get into such feverish acts, but there is no need to take these seriously since nothing like that may happen. But by all means the enormous need for appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) in the Islamic world is better understood in every aspect. See that Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) advent is a great necessity for Israel, as well as for Palestine, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Kirkuk, Turkic Republics, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and the entire Turkish States. Because in an overnight there will be an atmosphere of friendship where a compassionate, merciful, and just person will achieve results straight away and there will be no bureaucratic barriers. Since at the moment in order to just say that you are our friend and we love you, there is requisite for official correspondence. There are bureaucratic barriers for this message to go from one place to another.
