IRIB: Harun Yahya, a Muslim writer from Turkey. Thanks very much indeed for taking part in this interview.
ADNAN OKTAR: Thank you. May Allah be pleased.
IRIB: Harun Yahya, you are a well-known writer and Islamic scholar. You have written many articles and books on many different subjects. And you have your own series, one of the series which I’ve read in many of your published works is the theory of evolution. Can you possibly tell us about the theory of evolution?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is not my own theory; my belief is that of the Qur’an. I believe in the Creation described by the Qur’an. The theory of evolution is a pagan religion left over from the ancient Sumerians, from ancient Egypt, from the time of Pharaoh and the ancient Greeks. It takes chance as its god. It has deified the existence of atoms. They regard atoms as a creative force and construct their whole theory around chance. Yet there are more than 250 million fossils that all prove Creation.But there is not one single transitional fossil of the kind Darwinists talk about, not one. I have promised to give 10 trillion Turkish lira to anyone producing such a fossil, but nobody has yet done so. That is a further proof that the theory is a lie. In addition, it is scientifically impossible for proteins to come into being by chance. The theory of evolution is thus in an insoluble dilemma in every direction. Darwin says as much himself. He says there are no transitional fossils, and that if there are no transitional fossils he has no theory, although perhaps they will be discovered in the future, he says. Tens of thousands of laborers looked for intermediate fossils in his day, but never found any. Every stratum of the earth was dug up, but none were found. Yet 250 million fossils proving Creation have been found. In other words, life forms today are identical to their fossil remains from the past, there have been no changes. We can see from this that the theory of evolution is false. What Darwin said has happened. Because Darwin said his theory would collapse if no transitional fossils were found, and his theory has duly collapsed.
IRIB: The Muslim world court today says we face many problems. Can you, Harun Yahya, tell us what are the main challenges facing the world of Islam today and facing Muslims today?
ADNAN OKTAR: Division and sectarian differences. The Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliqi and Sha’afi schools make up Sunni Muslims, as you know. I am a Hanafi. But I also love Jaferites, Shiites and Wahabbists very dearly and regard them all as first class Muslims. Therefore, communities and schools and sects must all enjoy very close ties in a spirit of brotherhood. We must also enjoy close links of brotherhood and friendship to devout Christians and Jews, and we must work together hand in hand with them. Because the elements of the system of the dajjal are closely allied to one another and give each other very powerful support. Darwinist, materialist, communist and fascist systems and savage capitalism are ruining the world, and there is the huge power known as freemasonry above them. Muslims, Jews and Christians must combine together against these and espouse the existence of Allah and the existence of the Hereafter, and Muslims must strive so that Islam rules the world. But I believe that a great Turkish-Islamic Union under Turkish leadership will be established in the near future, insha’Allah. Insha’Allah, we will see this in the near future. Because this century is that of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Hazrat Mahdi (as) has already come, and little time remains until the coming of the Messiah, insha’Allah.
IRIB: And one final question; Muslims, of course all Muslims, believe in the coming of a final savior to save the world. This coming of the Prophet or a savior is not just limited to Muslims. Christians of course believe in that as well, the coming of the Messiah or savior. Can Harun Yahya just tell us what are the signs for the coming of this Prophet or savior?
ADNAN OKTAR: The omens of Hazrat Mahdi (as) all appear in the books of hadith, and I have already told them to my colleague, Ahmet. He can now tell you, insha’Allah.
OKTAR BABUNA:It is given as a glad tiding by our Prophet (saas) in the hadits of the signs of the emergence of Hazrat Mahdi (as) as like this: Stopping the flow of Euphrates which was realised in 1975. The occupation of Afghanistan which was said in hadith and this was realised in 1979. Storming the Qa’ba and the subsequent bloodshed, which happened in 1979 and more than 400 people lost their lives. And Iran-Iraq wars which was told in the hadiths as a sign of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as), it happened in 1980, as you know. Smoke and fire covers the sky. One of the largest oil tankers of the world, the Independenta, exploded in Istanbul in 1979. This is also one of the signs of the appearance of Mahdi. Eclipses of the Moon and the Sun 15 days apart in the month of Ramadan. These eclipses were realized in the years 1981 and 1982. Emergence of a comet, in this case emergence of Halley Comet which happened in 1986. Appearance of a two tailed comet resembling a horn and this happened this year, Lulin comet appeared which is brighter than the normal comets and which gazes from West to East which is exactly described in the hadiths.A sign from the Sun, and that happened in 1996, great explosions occured in the Sun. The occupation of Azarbaijan and that happened in 1990. A corruption of dust and smoke described in the hadiths and this happened in September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the US. Destruction of Baghdat by flames and that happened in the Iraqi war in 2003. The Iraqis will be left penniless and this happened as you know. It is said in the hadiths by our Prophet (saas) that an army vanishes in the desert and Iraqi army vanished in the desert. Sanctions against Iraq and Sham, this happened. The reconstruction of Iraq, this happened. The people of Iraq will flee Northwards to Sham, this happenned. Iraq is divided into three, as mentioned in the hadiths, this happened. Corruption in Middle East and Sham, this was mentioned in hadiths, this happened. Conflict between Tigris and Euphrates, and that happened in Turkey. As you know there are terrorist attacks and many people died. Annihilation of cities, this happened. A fire is seen from the East, as you know the burning of oil wells in 1991. And it is mentioned by our Prophet (saas) the murder of Rulers of Sham and Egypt and that happened in 1981, Anwar Sadat was murdered and in 1982 Lebanese leader Bashir Gemayel were murdered.The killing of the former king of Jordan, this happened in 1951.The Change of Systems, the widespread massacres. People talking to the end of the whip. The occurrence of a great economic crisis, which is happening right now, we are living this economic crisis. There are also many physical signs of the Mahdi given in the hadiths by our Prophet (saas). Now I will give you some examples. The physical features of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) face is beautiful and radiant, and this is according to the hadiths. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has a mole on his forehead. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has a black mark on his right leg. He (as) has a mark scar on his forehead. His brow is wide and open. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has slanted eyes. Hazrat Mahdi (as) is Arab-like in coloring. He is a descendant of the line of our Prophet (saas). Hazrat Mahdi (as) resembles one of the sons of Israel. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has a mole shaped like leaf on his shoulder. He is a descendant of the line of our Prophet (saas), as I told before. He is of a medium-stature. Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) thighs are long. Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) body is broad. His stomach is wide. His nose is small and thin. And his hair is black. He has a mole on his cheek. His beard is plentiful and thick. His eyebrows are curved. His teeth are bright. Hazrat Mahdi (as) walks with open feet. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will appear and begin his activities when he is 30-40 years old. Hazrat Mahdi (as) is a majestic individual. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will use his hands to emphasize when he talks. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has slented eyes. These are the physical features and I gave you all the signs of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) based on the hadiths by our Prophet (saas) and also the physical signs insha’Allah.
